With the arrival of spring and the increase of water temperature, almost every water creates a new life and, during that season, larvae and spawn of all fishes are created. Therefore, small fish become a very important link in the food chain. Their basic food is planktons and they become prey for the adult specimen of their own or of some other species. In that period, the intensity of their population growth is dependant on the distribution of planktons in a given water environment so that they could outgrow the limitations and take interest in at least a particular sort of fish. It is well known that all sorts of fish are cannibals, regardless of whether they are herbivores or carnivores in a particular season which is spring precisely. In that season, fish emerges from its winter hibernation and becomes more active, therefore it needs vitamins of animal origin because that food also contains proteins and fat to supplement the depleted winter supplies. Therefore an adult specimen would attack the specimens of related species. It naturally refers only to small fish. Prey fish are not interested in them yet because they are still small for their nutritional needs in the food chain so the majority of prey fish does not chase them at all. In an early phase, and some of them in the later period, fish spawn move and can be found in schools because it is their only mode of protection and a way to survive. It is known that the abundance of small fish gathered together perplexes the adult specimens and makes them irresolute which fish to attack and in the meanwhile, the majority of them manage to save their own lives. A particular sort of prey fish moves in schools not so large in number as those of spawn, but they have their own methods of feeding or preying, forcing small fish to resort to their methods of defense against the predatory onslaught. As aforementioned, small fish feed on planktons in spring. Due to the increase in the temperature of the surface layer of water, the concentration of planktons increases and that is the right place to observe where a large number of small fish live and feed. As time goes on and the temperature of the water decreases and planktons start dying and settling down onto the bottom, small fish change their habitats as well. Therefore, these models of lures should be made in accordance to the behaviour and movements of small fish, through all layers of water and an attempt should be made to achieve the utmost authenticity in imitating the movements made by small fish. With these lures, both salt-water and fresh-water prey fish can be caught and they offer the ultimate fishing pleasure.
